WAe are industry leaders in sustainable techniques. We utilize the most current veterinary medicine combined with centuries-old techniques to curate the Gift of Wool.
Bound in Mountains
Our cashmere is cherished for its luxurious nature and the humane processes by which it is harvested.The Gift of Wool® mandates that we end up shearing less wool for the health of each individual caprine, and ultimately the entire herd.
The health of each individual caprine is the only consideration when it is shorn. Not market demand for cashmere or futures predictions. Often, corporate-owned herds are regarded as chattels, fungible, replaceable. Simply put, the corporate desire for profit exceeds any benevolence to the caprine.
Receiving the Gift
In return for our aegis, we are rewarded with a prized harvest of the finest cashmere
available. In fact, our company bears the name of the precious sacks in which the Gift of Wool® is measured. As the cashmere once served the caprine, it serves us again.
Our designers and craft workers assume stewardship of the Gift of Wool®, using a blend of traditional methods and state-of-the-art equipment. This vibrant group of artisans design and manufacture the garments in the same atelier.
